"I live in Sulphur Springs Texas. Before Wal-Mart built here we had a K-mart, Kroger, and many other mom and pop stores. They built their first store around 1980 and in 1994 built a so-called Super-Center. First of all the contractor didn't pay some of the local vendors and had to be forced by the courts to do so. He explained that Wal-Mart had not paid him which we found out to be true."
