"Although I haven't had any personal experiences
with
the Wal-mart here, my friend in Chicago actually took them to court
because
of where they placed they're guns for sale. She went shopping with her
two
daughter's (ages 7 and 4) and after heading back to the toy department
she
heard her daughter saying, "Mommy, I want one of these". She looked to
find
a very colorful display with flashing lights and sounds all around a new
rifle for sale.
The picture that was taken in the local newspaper show's my friend
touching one of her arms to kids toys while the other arm actually
reached
the guns and ammo. She had an all out war with that manager also as
well as
the corporate office. After they refused to take any action in moving
the
guns away from the toys, she took them to court. The guns are now moved
to
a different location.
