"Dear Fowler,
I am an avid Wal-Mart Shopper. My family spends about 10,000 dollars a year on food alone (big family). But recently something happened that has shown me the light. It has caused me to join the list of Wal-Mart haters. While shopping in Wal-Mart, I was walking down one of the large aisles, between food and the clothing. I turned down the stationary aisle. As I turned my hand grazed the end of a rack and the middle finger of my right hand was sliced open. The associates were very kind. The cleaned and bandaged me up. After a visit to the emrgency room, I went home. The Doctor didnt use stitches, but in fact used superglue to put my finger back together. I was given a phone number for Claims Management Incorporated (a wholly owned subsidiary of Wal-Mart) and told that they would take care of my bill. Just call themand everything would be taken care of. I received my bill from the hospital. 492.00 Dollars. I turned that figure over to Claims Management Inc. Today I was told by Scott Hagar (Claims Management Inc.) that my claim was turned down. That Wal-Mart will not pay my bill. So please add me to the list of Wal-Mart haters. Sincerely and Seriously, Paul Christian northstarads@earthlink.net" |
