E-Mail from Employee Who Hates Wal-Mart:
"I saw your Web Site and had to e-mail you. I’ve worked for Wal-mart for 7 years, 7 LONG YEARS. I understand where you are coming from completely. It’s a sad thing when you can be 35 miles away from any wal-mart and sat in a yard on a windy day and watch the wal-mart sacks blow by. I’m in a lower management position; I’ve seen how they treat their employee’s and the customers. If you want to stand in a long line go to any Wal-mart. I’m a CSM which means I’m suppose to manage the front end, you know keep the lines down, right, We constantly run on a skeleton crew and we’re expected to keeps the lines down and keep on top of breaks, lunches , go homes. If wal-mart really cared about the customers, they would have enough people working to adequately staff the areas. You are running a losing battle in trying to get them to repair the fence and pick up the litter. You can’t win against them, their too big. It’s a real shame; I bet your property value went down when they built that store. Hang in there; Wal-marts day is coming. After 7 years I’ve decided to quit. Basically I can’t work there in good conscience. I can’t bear to see good people get treated so badly. I’m the type of man that is lead by his conscience. If I was you I would collect all of the trash from your property, take it to the store and dump it out in front of the store manager. I hope thing work out a little better for you. I know wal-mart doesn’t have the balls to do the right thing, so I apologize for what they have done to you. Have a great day."
